Grayson is a professional actor in NYC/Boston with over 10 years of experience in TV, film, stage, commercials, sketch comedy and stand up comedy. With a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Columbia University, he has taught acting workshops in the U.S., Europe. Grayson has also taught Acting, Scene Study, Career Prep and Improvisation at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts Summer Program, Long Island University, and Acting at New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts and UMass Boston. In his spare time Grayson enjoys brewing beer in his tiny kitchen, collaborating on creative projects with his wife and friends, as well as visiting family in the Carolinas where he grew up. He has performed at regional theatres such as the Capital Repertory Theatre, Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre, New London Barn Playhouse, Gulfshore Playhouse, Flat Rock Playhouse, Chopin Theatre, Barnstormers Theatre, and Commonwealth Shakespeare Company.
Grayson has appeared in Made in Jersey and Madam Secretary on CBS, Amazon's Modern Love, AMC's Kevin Can F Himself, the short film This New York Story (DAMN Film Series selection), Roger and the Therapeutic Therapist, the award winning short film The Poet (Big Apple Film Festival, New York No Limits, New Filmmakers NY) as well as the award winning feature films Hedgehog, The Shade, Sundown, The Sympathy Card and Hotel America. Grayson is in currently in pre-production for the feature film SWELL which he co-wrote with his film company, 3 Worker Films.
In New York City he has performed at the Cherry Pit, Manhattan Repertory Theatre, Columbia Stages, Riverside Theatre and Schapiro Theatre. Grayson has also participated in readings and developmental projects including The Beautiful and the Damned at The Players Club, The Boy with the 7 Hearts at The Flamboyan Theatre, Faith, Love Among Friends at NY Sciences and Art Salon, Pride and Prejudice: the Musical and Fireflies at The Lark Play Development Center.
Commercials Grayson can be seen in include Samsung, Bank of America, Canon, Flonase, Applebees, Citizens Bank, Bernie and Phyl's furniture, Connecticut Lottery, TriHonda and USAA. He has also performed stand up comedy at Gotham Comedy Club, Stand Up New York, Comix and EastVille Comedy Club.
